Julian Joist is an independent artist from the picturesque town of Bad Säckingen in southern Germany.
His sound is a modern take on country music, enriched with pop and rock influences, which includes catchy hooks and melodies and high production standards. His lyrics often explore themes of love, relationships, and personal growth, allows listeners to connect deeply with his music.
Currently, Julian is passionately building his home studio, a project aimed to speed up his recording process. This new setup will allow him to produce his songs with professional quality, enabling him to share his music with the world more efficiently. Despite this exciting development, he remains dedicated to performing at local venues, keeping his connection with live audiences strong and vibrant.
A true explorer at heart, Julian's love for travel and meeting new people has significantly influenced his music. During his four-month trip along the west coast of Canada in 2017, he listened to a lot of country music, which shaped the sound of his own work.
Thanks to his cousin, he had the privilege of recording at Frankfurt's renowned "Studios 301 Germany," formerly known as the Abbey Road Institute. This prestigious studio has hosted legendary artists like Coldplay and Slash from Guns 'n' Roses.
Julian's most successful single to date is "Free Again." Which was brought to life by a talented team of 11 people, including his cousin Morten Arndt and drummer Neal Yakopin from Country music star Nate Smith, who has 7.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The collaborative effort behind "Free Again" showcases Julian's ability to create compelling music that resonates with a wide audience.
